Past Shows
Here are some images from my work history.

< Original One-Woman Shows
I have produced and performed four original one-woman Kabaret shows,
co-written with Brisbane writer/musician Donald Hall.
My original works, "The Travelling Re-incarnation Show",
premiered at the Metro Arts Theatre, Brisbane City 1996
"Transmutations", 1997 Woodford Festival,
"Dirt In The Ground", Brisbane Solstice Festival 1998,
and "Winging The Prayer", Woodford Festival 1999,
continue performance at various festivals.
Pictured are characters from "The Travelling Re-incarnation Show",
a comical/tragic journey through the pitfalls of the human condition,
performed at the Metro Arts Theatre, Brisbane, 1996.
German Kabarett Shows >
In 1994 I put together my first solo compilation, "Instead Of Staying Home In Bed At Night Behaving",
featuring the words and music of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill (1930's Germany),
performed at the Princess Theatre, Brisbane. This show along with my subsequent work;
"Berlinesque", featured the words and music of 1920's writer Joachim Ringelnatz and Agnes Bernelle, and continues to be performed throughout Australia and overseas.
< Bim Bam Boo
"Bim Bam Boo", a magical outdoor music/theatre piece,
written by Linsey Pollack,
was first performed at the Woodford Festival in 1998,
and following that, at the Botanic Gardens for the Brisbane Festival, 1999.
"Shoe", Roving Comedies >
The "Shoe" company was formed in 1996 when I was asked to put together
a street theatre proposal for the Woodford Festival.
Following the success of that year's act, "The Woolfzingers",
a dubious trio of deflunked royalty from somewhere in the boglands of Eastern Europe,
"The Potato" was formed and performed at the "Brisbane Solstice Festival
and Woodford Festival 1997.
The third trio act, "Bon Appetit", tales of fine food, wine and murder,
proved equally popular.
< Plays
Professional work in plays spans between 1987 and 1999,
including major roles in the plays of
Shakespere, Brecht, Berkoff and Dario Fo.
Most recently I played the duo roles of Sybil and Helen
in Steven Berkoff's sardonic look at the classes, "Decadence",
for Fractal Theatre's Brisbane season at the Merivale Street studio.
Various Character Performances>
A few of the many characters performed at various Festivals and events.
< Bad Clown Incorporated, "Clowns Night Off"
A highly original clown act, including live Clown Band, "The Crumpets",
performed with fellow actors, Andy Forbes and Andy McDonell.
